The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) initiated an investigation into KCBS 740 AM. The station allegedly broadcasts the locations of ICE agents' undercover operations in San Jose, CA.
At a minimum, one would think the following would be contemplated or completed:
1.) The station should review guidelines so as not to compromise the law enforcement community.
2.) The station should consider public safety in such pronouncements.
3.) The FCC should conduct a thorough investigation with the appropriate sanctions and fines if warranted.
